La Scala String Quartet is a leading ensemble comprising four very experienced professional players, all of whom were educated at the London Conservatoires and New York giving them the expertise to make your wedding music both memorable and of the highest calibre.

In addition, the La Scala String Quartet members have given regular recitals and have worked with many of the London orchestras, playing at the ‘Proms’ and major music festivals in Europe, USA and Canada. West End shows, TV appearances and backing strings for entertainment events have always been part of their freelance playing and it is this passion for such a wide variety of music, which has led to the extensive and diverse repertoire for which La Scala String Quartet is renowned.

With many years of experience, we have had the pleasure of playing at literally hundreds of functions, weddings and parties, from small intimate gatherings to large scale spectaculars. For both religious and civil ceremonies, we can provide the appropriate quartet music for the Bride’s entrance, the signing of the register and the happy couple leaving the ceremony.
